Cherry Cake Dessert

1 can cherry pie filling
½ package dry white cake mix
½ cup chopped pecans
1 stick butter, melted

Pour pie filling into greased Cady Clay Works pie plate. Sprinkle with cake mix and nuts. Pour butter over top. Bake for 40 minutes at 350º. Remember to start with a cold oven when baking in handmade pottery.

To serve, spoon into Cady Clay Works handmade bowls. Top with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
