Aunt Annie's Calicoe Beans
1 large can baked beans
1 can butter beans, drained
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 medium onion, chopped
½ cup catsup
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 tablespoon mustardCombine all ingredients in greased Cady Clay Works casserole. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes. Remember to start with a cold oven when cooking in handmade pottery.
Beth’s Tips:
- Can also be made in a crock pot and cooked all day.
- Make a double batch! Tastes great reheated and freezes well.
